Christian Wood Trade
Today I’m going to talk about Christian Wood and his trade to the Lakers. He has played for the Houston Rockets and the Dallas mavericks. He played for unlv in college for 2 years and averaged 10.4 points and 6.8 rebounds a game. He was undrafted coming into the NBA so he was very underrated coming into the league but this year he averaged 16.6 points per game and also 7.3 rebounds and also shot an efficient 51 percent from the field. I really like this move from the Lakers. This will really open up things for Anthony Davis and they will have a good big man that can work inside the paint and outside the paint will really impact the Lakers in a good way and they will have a good big man coming off the bench. They put wood on a veteran contract because on past teams he has had bad attitudes and he was a cancer to the team so they don’t wanna invest to much money in him because if he comes to the Lakers and they pay him big money and he messes up the chemistry of the the team it would be a waste of money. So I like how they went about acquiring him. I just really hope he doesn’t mess up this opportunity because I think this will be a great fit for him and his career. I also saw him post on twitter saying he always wanted to be a Laker.
