Mvp Race

Today on this blog I am going to talk about the MVP race in the nba. The first player that I will talk about and who

will most likely win the award is Nikola Jokic. Jokic plays for the Denver Nuggets and he is currently averaging

29.1 points per game 12.9 rebounds per game and 8.0 assists per game. He is very important and impactful to his

team. Without him they wouldn’t have the best record in the league but he has led his team to an 8-1 start which is

the best record in the league. Jokic has had back to back 35 point games and he makes a strong case to be MVP

again for the third time. The second person I will talk about is Joel Embiid. He plays for the 76ers and he’s

currently averaging 31.7 points per game 10.9 rebounds per game and 5.9 assist per game. Embiid is a force to be

reckoned with; he has had five straight double doubles and he probably will continue that streak for a little while.

I put him second because sometimes he may not make the right play and it can make him look really bad and also

he can’t lead his team to the finals which Jokic can do. The last person I will talk about is Luka Doncic. He plays

for the Dallas Mavericks and he is averaging 31.5 points per game, 9.3 rebounds per game and 8.8 assists per

game. The maverick’s are 2nd in the west and them being number 2 in the west is really helping his case at

potentially winning the mvp award . Donic will always be in the mvp race but I just don’t think it’s his time right

now.
